The official regulations and playing rules of Little League Baseball will be followed by Palm Bay East Little League.  The following “Local Rules” will also be in effect.

1. All games will have a 45 minute time limit. A batter who has started his/her “at bat” will be allowed to complete his/her turn. 
2. Side-out will occur after each team has batted through the batting order.
3. A continuous batting order shall be used
4. All players shall take the field while on defense..
5. Managers and Coaches shall remain on the field for the purpose of providing instruction to players during the game. A coach must be present at the plate coordinating a safe batting environment at the plate, and must remove the batting tee from the plate when a runner is scoring
6. The HOME team will supply one (1) new game ball, one (1) serviceable ball, and the tee.
7. Runners that are put out shall return to their dugout.
8. The HOME team shall occupy the 3rd base dugout.
9. HOME team managers and coaches will prepare the field for play prior to the game.
10. Two base after a hit ball travels into the outfield grass.
11. Defensive players must play in the traditional positions of pitcher, catcher, first, second third bases, shortstop and the outfield. (No double pitchers, or extra players on the infield grass are allowed.)
12. No defensive player may play the same position every inning. All outfield positions are considered one position.
13. No advancing on overthrows. (Teach players to throw to the base, not run and tag.)
